In July, two book clubs, the
Zoomers Lit Wits and the
Booker Babes, gathered at Pam
Epstein’s home to welcome Mark
Pryor, British-born author of
The
Bookseller
, first in the Hugo Mar-
ston mystery series printed in
six languages in seven countries.
Pryor regaled his audience with
anecdotes ranging from his first
news story in elementary school,
to the 150-200 agents he con-
tacted before being accepted as
a client. Creator of the nation-
