Georgetown Public Library - 2019 "Williamson County through the Lens" Presented by the Sun City Photography Club The Photography Club of Sun City will present a Photographic Exhibit Titled "Williamson County through the Lens". The exhibit will be on the first floor of the library in the Cafe Gallery and will showcase our artistic through-the-lens view of the sights, places, people,wildlife, and things that we love to photograph in Georgetown and Williamson County. This leaves things pretty much open as long as it is a photo taken in Williamson County and is family friendly. We will present approximately 28 photos, of some of our "Best" work taken in Williamson county; work not exhibited before at the Georgetown Library. We will be sharing our scenes from Williamson county with the Georgetown community and what better place than the Georgetown Public Library. Our exhibit goes up Friday, August 30, (9:00 am to 11:00 am) and "Officially" starts Saturday, August 31, 2019. The exhibit comes down on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 (9:00 am to 11:00 am). Our reception will be held on Friday,September 13, 2019,4-6 pm. Dates, Time and Hanging Details - Registration begins Monday, June 24, 2019 with the cutoff for submissions on Friday, August 23, 2019.
- Photo Drop Off - Friday, August 30, 2019 from 9:00am till 11:00am at the table located near the Red Poppy Coffee Co. counter in the library.
- Exhibit Hanging, Friday, August 30, 2019 from 11:00am till 2:00pm
- Reception,Friday, September 13, 2019– 4:00 to 6:00pm
- Exhibit Take Down, Tuesday,September 24, 2019 from 9:00am till 11:00am
- We have a space limit of 28 - 16 X 20 photos with a maximum width and height of 26" measured outside the frame. The minimum glass size is 11"x14" and the minimum picture size is 8"x10", nothing smaller. Photos will be accepted on a first come first reservedbasis.
- We hope to exhibit only one photo per photographer.
