The LBJ Library, voted one of the best places to visit in Austin, provides a great overview of Lyndon B. and Lady Bird Johnson's lives, his presidency, and a historical and cultural backdrop of that era.  One can linger or speed through depending on interest, but you won't want to miss the excellent recreations of the Oval Office and the First Lady's office.  An extra added bonus are the views of UT and Austin which are spectacular from the top level.

After our tour we will head to the Scholz Garten to relax and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch, a brisket and sausage buffet with all the sides, finished off with an Amy's ice cream dessert. Lunch includes beverage, gratuity and tax.

Our afternoon will be spent at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at UT Austin.  The botanic gardens represent the most diverse collection of Texas native plants in North America.  An arboretum, a family garden, and three miles of trails include 650 beautifully displayed plants native to Texas.  With a butterfly garden, water gardens and more, you will not find a better time to visit than now when our amazing Texas countryside is filled with a patchwork quilt of incredible color.

Ticket cost includes transportation, lunch, and admission fees.
