I grew up in the inner city of Philadelphia where my roots still want to pull me back to city life.  After I married, I settled in Virginia, raised three children and worked as an Accountant.

My admiration for the art of photography began many years before I held my first camera.

I was blessed to live near the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. which offered frequent photography exhibits featuring the greatest photographers that ever lived.  I saw every show I could and images I could only wish I had taken. I received my first camera 15 years ago when I was caring for my mom. It was given to me as a therapeutic gift which did accomplish its purpose but also opened a whole new world for me.  I started tinkering in my backyard where many butterflies and birds visited.  After my moms’ passing I traveled to New York City where I was drawn to Street and Architectural photography converting my images to black and white. Venturing on to explore other genres of photography I discovered my interest in creative photography. My move to Texas eighteen months ago opened a new chapter allowing to explore my creativity in seeing what the vast-wide open spaces have to offer.
