EXTERIOR PAINTING
We know it is spring when people start to call about painting their
homes. No paperwork is required to update the existing paint with
a new coat unless you own a cottage. For those who want to change
colors, form B-2 is the vehicle for change. The colors used by the
Developer are on the website at www.sctexas.org > Departments
& Hours > Community Standards > Paint Schema. There you
can view and determine which colors you would like to use. Due
to irregularities in how monitors and printers display colors, it
is a good idea to visit a local paint store and ask them to help.
REPLACING TREES
If you are replacing a tree with a native tree from Appendix E
in the Design Guidelines, you won’t need a permit. If you would
like to remove a tree without replacing it, please review item
47 on the No Paperwork List and Section 4.3.18 of the Design
Guidelines located on the website at Community Association
Info > Documents to see if you need to file an application.
OVERNIGHT PARKING
As you probably know, no overnight parking is allowed on Sun
City Texas neighborhood streets. If parking in your garage or on
your driveway is not an option, please go to the monitor’s desk
nearest your residence and obtain a parking permit for one of our
locations where a parked car is allowed overnight. The monitor
will be glad to issue a permit for a few days, but the long-term
answer is to park all vehicles in the garage and/or on the driveway.
