If your taxes are done and you’re ready to get rid of the clutter,
bring those old bills, personal documents and bank statements
to the community-wide Shred Day on Friday, April 21! Three
shred trucks will be available. Each household may bring up to
five (5) bags or file boxes. This is a FREE service for residents of
Sun City Texas only and funded by your Sun Rays advertisers!
What you CAN shred: Paper, personal documents, bank
statements, old bills, etc. You do not have to remove staples,
paper clips or binder clips.
What you CANNOT shred: No plastic bags, plastic items,
3-ring binders, CDs or other media, x-rays, cardboard, or phone
books (commercial or residential).
Remember, keep your current Sun City Texas Directory and
deposit it in the CA’s blue bin next to the tennis courts in June
when the new Directory comes out. The CA will securely dispose
of it, protecting your personal contact information.
Check your profile by March 31!
Even if you have been listed in the printed
directory in the past, it is critical that each
resident log into the website to check and
update their profile in the online directory
by March 31! You can also visit the Member
Services Office to make updates to your
profile information. Please see below for im-
portant information regarding your profile
and directory listing.
– If you wish to include a phone number in the resident listings
by street address, please enter a phone number in the Home
Phone field in your online profile.
– If your spouse or housemate has selected to “hide” their profile
in the printed directory through their Preferences, the entire
household will be hidden. Please coordinate with your spouse.
– Birthdays, home state, emergency contact information and
memberships will not be printed in the directory.
– Certain fields can only be updated by the Member Services Of-
fice (Name, Address, Birthday, Chartered Club Memberships).
– Renters with a lease expiration date on or before August 31,
2016 will not be printed in the directory. Please contact Mem-
ber Services if you have questions about a lease expiration
date on file or to notify of an extension of your lease.
Note: Each person in a household has his/her own sepa-
rate profile. Log in to www.sctexas.org using your member ID
(XXXXX-XXX) and password. When you arrive on the Resident
Home Page, click on your Profile and your Preferences to review
your information and edit if necessary. If you need assistance,
please contact the Member Services Office.
