across the vineyards of Fredericksburg, up past Ruby Pecot waits on a customer at the Photography Club’s
Enchanted Rock, and down along the craft fair booth in November.
Bluebonnet Trail between Llano and Burnet in search of the
take-your-breath-away natural beauty that spreads through the
Texas Hill County each spring. We will be on the hunt for Texas
bluebonnets, Indian paintbrush, and Mexican poppies along with
elusive golden-cheeked warblers, black-capped vireo, butterflies
and wildlife that call this area home.
We will spend time in Fredericksburg for lunch on your own,
shopping and tours of Pioneer Village, St Mary’s Catholic Church
– a painted church –and Quintessential Chocolates. A stroll
through pioneer history, a look at an architectural masterpiece,
along with a lesson in the art of casting liquid center chocolates,
should prepare us to head back out on the wildflower trail.
