The Singers’ Christmas concert, titled
“Rejoice, It’s Christmas,” will be held on
Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 2 and 3 at
7 p.m. with dress rehearsal at 6:40 p.m. on
Tuesday, Dec. 1. All will be in the Social
Center Ballroom. Tickets can be purchased
for $8 at the Member Services Office or
online at www.sctexas.org.
Do you like to sing? We will begin
rehearsing for our spring concert on Jan. 5. few spectator sports in Sun City Texas!
New members are welcome to join us at the
first or second rehearsal in January. The
dates are Tuesday, Jan. 5 and Tuesday,
Jan. 12. Please arrive by 6:20 p.m. to sign
in, collect your music and find a seat in
your singing section.
All rehearsals in January will be in the
Social Center Ballroom. Membership
dues are $10 payable online and at the
Member Services Office. Merry Christmas

Dulcimers - a SIG of Singers
We will perform at the Williamson County
Museum on First Friday, Dec. 5, from 6
to 8 p.m. We hope to see you there. Don’t
forget to mark your calendars for our con-
cert on Sunday, Jan. 17 at 3 p.m. in The
Worship Place church on Sun City Blvd.
Practice is every Saturday morning from
10 a.m. to noon and every Tuesday eve-
ning from 6 to 8 p.m. You are welcome to
visit. Free lessons are offered for inter-
ested parties in January and February.

Bridge begins at noon; players should ar-
rive at 11:45 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays

p.m.; players should arrive at 5:15 p.m.

Webb Field to watch and/or play one of the

cover makes watching games more com-
fortable and enjoyable. We also have an
area for sun lovers, but you will need to
bring your own chairs.
Our fall season just completed prior to
Thanksgiving. There are regular prac-
tices and pick-up games at 9 a.m. on Tues-
days and Fridays during December. Our
winter league season will start in Janu-
ary so watch for details.

The Solos Chartered Club is open to all
Sun City Texas residents. Our goal is to
have a good time participating in social,
intellectual and sporting activities. We
welcome all new members to join our fam-
ily of friends.
Solos Thirsty Thursday, no Decem-
ber socials.
Thirsty Thursday will resume in Janu-
ary at 5 p.m. on the second and fourth
Creek in the Georgetown/Florence
rooms.
Holiday Party
Come join us for our holiday party as we
celebrate “Christmas Around the World”
on Saturday, Dec. 22 at 6 p.m. in the
Social Center Ballroom.
We will feast on delicious food prepared
by Mopsie’s and enjoy a wonderful eve-
ning of entertainment that will include
live music, dance and “Christmas Around
the World” festivities.
Beverages will be served and an evening
of excellent entertainment will certainly
brighten your holidays. Remember to get
your tickets as soon as they go on sale
because seating will be limited.
Stained Glass

We hope each of you attended the Arts
and Crafts Fair and visited the Stained
Glass Studio and saw all the beautiful
pieces of glass that our members created.
We welcome visitors to come by the club
anytime and see how we go about making
the different pieces. The studio is open
from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each week day.
We will be offering a beginners class in
January. Call the studio for the date,
time and when to sign up. The club’s an-
nual holiday potluck dinner will be held
on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at the Cowan Creek
Amenity Center in the Florence Room. We
hope to see you there. Have a wonderful
holiday!

The Sundancers square dance on Monday
evenings and round dance on most
Sunday evenings. All square and round
dancers are welcome to come and join in
