Newmembers must sign up for Orienta-
tion and Safety Training at the wood-
shop.
The Woodworkers Club invites you to
stop by the woodshop and see the many
wood projects and craft items for sale.
We’d be happy to give you a guided tour
of our facility, talk about your idea for a
wood project, or just talk.
The Woodworkers Club is open to all
Sun City Texas residents of all skill lev-
els. All new members are required to
take the Orientation and Safety Class,
as well as a one-on-one, hands-on Safety
Training Session.
Our training classes and extensive li-
brary, paper and digital, help our mem-
bers plan projects and enjoy woodwork-
ing.
CHARTERED CLUBS
We have several main club projects we
work on during the year, including “Toys
for Tots,” making wooden toys for less
fortunate children at Christmas and
“Camp Discovery,” providing wooden kit
projects to a summer camp for children
fighting cancer.
To raise funds for these projects we sell
craft items at the woodshop throughout
the year, do furniture repair at the wood-
shop and sell craft items at the annual
Hill Country Arts & Crafts Fair.
