“You don’t quit playing softball be-
cause you get old; you get old because
you quit playing softball!”
We invite you to beautiful Del Webb Field
to watch and/or play one of the few specta-
tor sports in Sun City Texas! Come and
have some fun! Our grandstand cover
makes watching games more comfortable
and enjoyable.
Our informal winter season is underway
with a single game at 11 a.m. onMondays
and Thursdays. Everyone plays during
these games and the cost is only $5 per
player for the season. There are also regu-
lar practices and pick-up games at 10 a.m.
on Tuesdays and Fridays. We invite all
new and existing residents to check out
our senior slo-pitch softball. There are
also very active and self-supporting trav-
eling teams, the Sun City Warriors, for
the more competitive players.
You are invited to also check the Softball
Club website and the club bulletin board
at Del Webb Field for additional informa-
tion, schedules and calendar of events.

celebrate birthdays, have potluck meals
and share in social activities. Bring your
beverage of choice, a glass and let us wel-
come you to our family of friends.
Upcoming Social Event
Mardi Gras is coming to Solos on Friday,
February 20. Experience the food, mu-
sic and revelry of New Orleans without
leaving Sun City! Costumes, or at least
masks, are encouraged. Let’s all go to
“Bourbon Street” and party the night
away! Watch your email for further in-
