cause you get old; you get old because
you quit playing.”
As one of the few spectator sports in Sun
City Texas, we invite you to come watch,
play and have some fun at beautiful Del
Webb Field, featuring a new grandstand
cover for spectators’ added comfort and
enjoyment.
Fall Season league games will be played
on Mondays and Thursdays, September
8 through November 13. Practice and
pick-up games take place every Tuesday
and Friday, beginning at 10 a.m. There is
also a very active, self-supporting travel-
ing team, the Sun City Warriors, for the
more competitive player.
The annual Georgetown Police Blue San-
ta Tournament will be held on Saturday,
October 18 at Del Webb Field. Come out
to watch the games and bring a toy or
a donation. We also support the Boys &
Girls Club of Georgetown, the Fort Hood
Officers Spouses Club assisting Fort Hood
families and other special events. Please
check the Softball Club website or Club
Bulletin Board for standings, schedules
