Newmembers:
Must sign up for Orien-
tation &Safety Training at the woodshop.
The Woodworkers Club invites you to
stop by the woodshop and see the many
wood projects and craft items for sale.
We are happy to give you a guided tour
of our facility, discuss your idea for a
wood project or just talk.
The Woodworkers Club is open to Sun
City Texas residents of all skill levels.
All new members are required to take
the Orientation and Safety Class, as well
as a one-on-one, hands on Safety Train-
ing Session.
Our training classes and extensive
library (paper and digital) help our
members plan projects and enjoy their
woodworking.
There are several main club projects in
which we participate, including: “Toys
for Tots,” to provide wooden toys for less
fortunate children at Christmas, and
“Camp Discovery,” to provide wooden kit
projects to a summer camp for children
fighting cancer.
To raise funds for these projects, we sell
craft items at the woodshop throughout
the year, offer furniture repair services
and sell craft items at the Annual Hill
Country Arts & Crafts Fair.
