important as our actors, directors, singers
and dancers. Set builders and designers,
costume designers, seamstresses, makeup
experts, lighting and sound technicians,
advertising and marketing creators and
illustrators, and those who create, acquire
and move props and set decoration are all
essential for successful productions.
The Guild meets on the first and third
Mondays of each month. Business is con-
ducted on first Mondays at 3 p.m. in the
Social Center Ballroom. Social meetings
take place on third Mondays at the same
time and place. Come to any meeting and
check us out. Membership is only $12 per
year.
The Mad Hatters group is AcTAG’s out-
reach to the community. Two troupes of
six to eight members, each wearing many
colorful hats, visit schools, pre-schools and
Alzheimer’s groups, using animated fairy
tales to educate and entertain.

a graduate of the Institute for Integrative
Nutrition with distinction from the Ameri-
can Association of Drugless Practitioners,
and represents GreenSmoothieGirl.com.
You’ll sample easy-to-make green smooth-
ies combined with essential oils and learn
more about healthy alternatives approach-
es that ‘do no harm’. Guests are always
welcome at our monthly general meeting.
The first
Wise Woman Group
of the fall
season will meet on Wednesday, October
8 at 10 a.m. at 103 Montley Trail. A book
has not yet been selected, but we hope to
study creation and its relationship to the
spiritual journey. The groupmeets weekly.
The
Spirituality Anonymous Group
meets Wednesday, October 15 at 7 p.m. in
theWalburg/Jarrell roomat Cowan Creek.
Discussion topics center around contem-
porary spirituality. Guest speakers are
invited to share their insights and partici-
pants are encouraged to join discussions.

The Actors and Theatre Arts Guild is
a chartered club of over 200 talented,
fun-loving people who adore the smell of
greasepaint and the roar of the crowd.
Each year, the club produces three main-
stage plays, plus an annual Follies in the
ballroom. The club additionally produces
two smaller-venue plays in the Atrium.
