The Poker Club held a Texas Hold’em
No Limit tournament on May 13 with
28 members participating in the event.

Nathan and DJ Corbell • 107 Whispering Wind (N02)
Stately, secluded and serene, this lovely property is entirely about savoring
nature. The gardens, created by DJ and Nathan Corbell, delight the senses and
provide immediate feelings of calmness and pleasure. Anchored in front by
flower-laden beds that include roses, larkspur and sedum roaming underneath
a towering crape myrtle, the side and back yards provide multiple nooks to
stop and enjoy the scenery. The delightful pond, which was constructed by the
homeowners, acts as the center point in the back garden. Inhabited by a few
fish poking up to say “hi,” it gurgles and invites you to sit and stay awhile. The
first home built by Del Webb, this property has undergone significant changes
over the past eighteen years. Shaded areas have replaced those once in full sun
and alterations to the garden have kept pace. As stated so well by DJ Corbell,
“Living things evolve just like people do.” The garden’s multiple focal points and
sense of calm truly warms the heart.
