t’s amazing to see the array of colors,
patterns and prints as each person
steps to the first tee at any of our
three Sun City Texas golf courses. It’s
not unusual to see golf bags matching
golf carts, or head covers matching golf
bags—not to mention the fellows looking
dapper from head to toe and the ladies
perfectly color-coordinated!
As we head into summer, why not have
fun both playing on the course and in
our attire! A variety of pastels and neon
colors appear to be the latest spring/sum-
mer fashion trend for men and women
alike. Gone are the days of plain kha-
ki, navy and black—these days, it’s the
brighter, the better! Why not go for it?
Ladies, we also want to make sure to
sparkle wherever we are, and a bit of
bling can really put pep in your step!
Shimmer with accessories, be it watch-
es, jewelry, purses, or the ever-popular
“sparkle hats.”
With warm weather upon us, the most
important fashion we can don is sun pro-
tection. Wear solar sleeves, UV protec-
tant-lined hats, UV-protected polo shirts,
wide brim hats and Aussie Soaker hats
that will keep you looking and feeling
“cool.” Other smart summer accessories
include Polar water bottles and chiller
towels to keep you hydrated on the green.
Fashion statements are not limited to
the golf course, and the golf shops offer a
vast selection of items to add excitement
to your closet. For the ladies: purses,
scarves, dressy tops and capris. For the
gents: designer polo shirts, shorts and
outerwear—all ready to mix and match.
Here’s to a fun and fashionable summer
