Why we don't quote cruise from rates on our website

Our group rates are $600 off the stateroom brochure price.

Cruise lines often run promotions that are sometimes lower than the group rate.

If the vendor price is lower than the group rate, we will book the lowest price!

These, the first modern riverboats ever in the U.S., have introduced many pioneering innovations to America's waters.

With a capacity of just 190 guests, American Harmony has the modern amenities and contemporary styling that today's traveler has come to expect. Featured are expansive lounges with large glass windows, offering astounding views.

This new ship also features a five-story, glass-enclosed atrium with a large domed skylight, which serves as the central gathering point for the entire ship.

The new suite design allows for unprecedented comfort while traveling, beginning with the new Grand Suites featuring 800 square feet of private space. These spacious suites include two glass walls and a wraparound private balcony.

Complimentary room service during select mealtimes is available for every stateroom, but the Grand Suites offer ample space to host small cocktail parties or private dinner events.

Ports of Call

In each port, American Cruise Lines has taken special care to research and plan specific shore excursions to enhance your onboard experience. Our local experts, historians, and naturalists provide valuable insight as you discover each area's unique heritage and culture.

Ports of Call: New Orleans, Oak Alley, St. Francisville, Baton Rouge, Houmas House, LA; Natchez, Vicksburg, MS;

Shore excursions come in one of three categories:

Featured: Featured excursions are complimentary to all guests.

Premium: Premium excursions typically cost between $20 and $70 and can be paid for on-board, near the end of your cruise.

Signature: Signature excursions are limited-availability. We recommend that you reserve and pay for these excursions in advance.

Oak Alley, LA

Oak Alley Plantation

The famous ancient oaks bordering your path to the mansion are your first sight upon stepping ashore. The perfectly aligned 300-year-old trees form a canopy which creates a particularly grand entrance for our arrival. Southern belles, enjoying the shade of the leafy canopy, greet us on arrival and are our guides for the day. In small groups, explore the antebellum plantation's many stately rooms and discover why it has earned the name "Grande Dame of the Great River Road." After the tour, join us for a special gathering with mint juleps on the west lawn, before visiting their popular gift shop which is known for their world-famous pralines.

Natchez, MS

Historic Longwood Exploration

Longwood is just one of the elegant houses that graces the historic district of Natchez. This octagonal house epitomizes the rise and fall of the South. As the Civil War began, the workmen stopped construction and the house was never completed.

View the finished first floor with original family furnishings and the upper five stories that are still a work in progress.

Vicksburg, MS

Vicksburg National Military Park

A park ranger will lead you through the National Military Park which commemorates the campaign, siege, and defense of Vicksburg in 1863. Discover the restored ironclad gunboat, U.S.S. Cairo, the battlefield where the Siege of Vicksburg took place, and the over 1,300 monuments dedicated to the brave souls who lost their lives. Explore the Visitors Center where life-sized exhibits and artifacts from the Siege of Vicksburg are on display. The excursion concludes with a brief bus tour of downtown Vicksburg and the riverfront murals.

St. Francisville, LA

Rosedown Plantation Tour

The affluent ambiance of the Rosedown Plantation is evident the minute you step on the property. As you walk down the flowered path lined with towering oaks towards the Main House, you will be greeted by our lively resident expert, Tamie Miller. Throughout the tour, Tamie delves deep into the family history of Daniel and Martha Turnbull, sharing how their experiences helped shape the Main House into a home. At the conclusion of your tour, take time to peruse the grounds on your own or relax in a rocking chair on the front porch.

Baton Rouge, LA

Historic Baton Rouge Exploration

Explore Capital Park Museum and learn about the diverse aspects of Louisianna history, industry, and culture. Take a narrated tour through the historic streets of Baton Rouge, passing iconic landmarks such as Governors Hall, the New and Old State Capitol, and Magnolia Mound, a French Creole plantation house built in 1791.

Houmas House, LA

Housmas House & Plantation

The stately grandeur of Houmas House is complemented by the flair of our guide, Ms. Judy Davis, who has a personality as magnificent as the mansion itself. As we arrive, we will be greeted on the riverbank to begin our private tour through the gardens to the 16-room plantation home. Once inside, the velvet ropes are removed and permission is granted to use the home's furniture for a truly authentic experience. During the tour, she brings stories of the home's many inhabitants to life through the unique collection of Louisiana art. After the tour, you have time to explore the gardens on your own.
