OpenHab

openHAB is a software for integrating different home automation systems and technologies into one single solution that allows  automation rules to cross vendors and that offers uniform user interfaces.  See the OpenHab web site for samples of what the output looks like in a browser, an Apple app, and an Android app.

The openHab software will run on most platforms and there is a run-time version for a Raspberry Pi 2.  The program is very easily configured to communicate with most commercial IoT products and with MQTT, email, messaging, etc.  Device, display and automation rules are easily configured without any programming skills.
