Join us for a journey through Texas history along the Brazos River Trail as we make our way to the Waco National Mammoth Monument, the nation's first and only recorded evidence of a nursery herd of Columbian Mammoths. Questions are encouraged as we explore this site with a well-versed park ranger. Our adventure continues with lunch on your own at the Coffee Shop Café or Coach's Barbecue in McGregor, then on to the Coryell Historical Center in Gatesville. Home to a premier collection of memorabilia, this hidden gem of a museum covers the settlement of central Texas from old Fort Gates to the present, and includes the largest spur collection in the world.  A round of "Wild Texas Critters Racing" and a hot fudge sundae will see us down the river trail back home.

Ticket includes transportation, museum fees, and ice cream. Maximum tickets: 42
