Travel into the southern regions of the Texas Hill Country where tales of history and blankets of wildflowers set the stage for a wonderful new adventure in Boerne, a German Heritage site. Home to the famous Hill Country Mile, Boerne's main boulevard features more than 140 historic structures that have been lovingly restored and repurposed as antique malls, boutiques and art galleries. Sprinkled among the shops you will also find a nice selection of cafés, coffee houses, and sophisticated taverns, some set along Cibolo Creek. We will have three-and-a-half hours to browse, sample and taste the offerings this wonderful town has to offer before hitting the trail to Luckenbach. Home to the armadillo and made famous by Willie, Waylan and the boys, Luckenbach is the perfect place to pop a top and take in a bit of good ole country music under the live oaks.
