Abandoned by her family, mysterious and wild Kya Clark raises herself to adulthood in the dangerous marshlands of 1950s North Carolina. She is drawn to two young men from town, but when one of the men is found dead, Kya becomes the main suspect. As the murder case unfolds and what happened becomes increasingly clear, many secrets may be revealed. |
