General Meeting

Our next meeting is coming up next Monday, May 23. at 1:30 p.m. at the Sun City Social Center on Texas Drive. We invite you to bring a dessert to share. Last time, we had plenty, so do not bring more than half a dozen of whatever specialty you choose. 

Our speaker this month is Leslie Hearne, Director of Laundry Love. Thanks to Maria, our VP, for getting her to come with short notice as we changed our May speaker schedule. Please bring laundry PODS to donate, not liquid or powder, to the meeting, or you can go to the website https://www.laundrylovegeorgetown.org to order pods  delivered to Laundry Love.

We also have the annual fan drive going on for Family Elder Care.  You can bring a fan to donate; however, you can also donate funds to purchase fans at https://www.familyeldercare.org. We have donated over $1,700. Yay!  

We are looking forward to seeing you next week, if not before, as we have several outreach events scheduled.
