WILLIAMSON COUNTY MUSEUM/COURTHOUSE TOUR and LUNCH

Join fellow N48 neighbors for our private tour of the Williamson County Museum and Courthouse on Friday June 3 at 10:30AM!  The Courthouse is an icon in downtown Georgetown.  It was designed by Henry Page in 1909, exhibits Beaux-Arts architecture, and underwent a $9 million restoration during the 2000's.  A docent led tour will begin in the Museum located at 716 Austin Ave at 10:30 AM.

You may arrive early & browse the Museum at your own pace.  Then we will cross the street to visit the Courthouse where we'll learn more about the architecture and historic trials that took place there.  Both tours are FREE OF CHARGE! Total time for tours is about an hour and a half.

After the tours, those who wish can walk across the street to have lunch at the newly opened(November) Goodfolks restaurant.  This was formerly Burger University.  You may view the menu at:  goodfolksgtx.com.  Or, you are welcome to go back and spend more time at the Museum.  Address of the Courthouse is: 710 S Main St.  Address of Goodfolks is: 119 W 7th St, Georgetown.  Phone: 512-688-2764.  The restaurant does have some gluten free options.

PLEASE REGISTER on the N48 website no later than Wednesday June 1st, so that I can give an approximate count to the Museum AND to the restaurant.  They do not have a large room for groups, so we may be seated at a variety of tables.

CONTACT PERSON for questions, and I'll be there for the tour and lunch is Char Wehner.  Email is: [email protected], or Cell: 612-803-0229
