Join us for a look into our recent past as we tour the grounds of Camp Hearne, a World War II prisoner-of-war camp. After the 1942-43 U.S. troop build-up, ships carrying our soldiers to the European Theater returned to the States with an estimated 500,000 prisoners-of-war. This historic site held 40,000 of those prisoners and outlines the Camp's original footprint, along with an incredible exhibit depicting daily life for the mostly German prisoners.

Following lunch on your own in College Station, we will tour the Museum of the American G.I.  which is home to one of the finest collections of restored WWII military vehicles in the United States. Here, you'll see not only a Sherman tank, M18 Hellcat and River Patrol Boat, but also an extensive exhibit of propaganda posters, uniforms and the Texas Vietnam Heroes Exhibit.

Ticket includes transportation, guided tours and museum fees.  Maximum tickets: 36
