Dorothy Huang, Chinese cooking expert and author of Chinese Cuisine Made Simple, has arranged a ten-course feast of delectable dishes for us to share at First Chinese BBQ Restaurant and a tour of the MT Asian Supermarket.
Lunch begins with pots of hot tea, crisp spring rolls, and wonton soup followed by platters of Chinese BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Lo Mein with vegetables, Peking Duck tucked into steamed buns, Sesame Chicken, Kung Pao Shrimp, Egg-Foo Young with a tasty topping, Szechuan Beef and Sweet and Sour Pork. Sweet treats from the Chinese bakery and a drawing for Dorothy's amazing cookbook will bring our lunch to a finish.
After lunch, it's off to the market with Dorothy for a fun and informative shopping tour. Don't forget coolers and shopping bags to carry your market goodies.
