The Ken Ragsdale Orchestra was first organized in 1960 and continues to be one of the busiest and most popular musical groups in Central Texas. Hailed by the Austin American-Statesman as "Austin's premiere ballroom dance orchestra, something several generations of fans will be happy to tell you," the group also received national coverage through the pages of Dancing USA. This is a variety band, meaning they do it all: Big Band, Latin, rock, polkas, waltzes, Dixieland, and country/western. Their music library is comprised of more than 300 special arrangements of music that spans eight decades! The group loves to take requests and promises to make your event a memorable one, so join us for this great musical event in the ballroom!
