Come celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day at The Retreat! Doors will open at 12 p.m. All Things Wild will make a special presentation. Attending local groups include Citizens Climate Lobby, Samaritan's Purse, Sun City Garden Club, Water Matters and more. You will have an opportunity to visit with exhibitors before and after the matinee movie Big Little Farm. Find out how these groups are working the 5Rs - Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rot to help our Mother Earth. To attend the matinee movie Big Little Farm, secure a complimentary ticket (online or at member services office) seating is limited. A couple are followed through their successes and failures as they work to develop a sustainable farm on 200 acres outside of Los Angeles. Over the years, the desolate land they purchased begins to thrive and is transformed. Event hosted by Sun City Recycles. |
