TITLE OF CLASS: Textured Murphy Pot PREREQUISITE: Must know how to handle clay INSTRUCTOR(S): Ann McGovney & Kathie Shelby FEE: $5 (waived for Active Teachers and Loaders) MAX STUDENTS: 6 DATES(S): Thursday, July 11 & Friday, July 12 TIME(S): 9:30-12:00 each day CLASS DESCRIPTION: Create a basic cylinder and cover it completely (or nearly so) with multiple textures and sprigs. TOOLS& SUPPLIES NEEDED: - 5 lbs of your own clay (reds do not work well for this)
- Cutting & scratching tools (suggest you have your name on your items)
- 1 small item from home to make texture (use your imagination - a bottle cap, the handle of a disposable razor, a fancy button — anything at all!!
