Basic Photography Workshop

With the success of the silent auction the club held in conjunction with the holiday party, the board decided to use some of that money to help club members who want to become better photographers. On February  5th and 6th, Kathy Adams Clark will offer a basic photography workshop for club members.  The February 5 workshop will be held at the Georgetown City Library, 402 W. 8th Street from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.  The workshop on February 6th will be in the Georgetown/Florence Rooms at the Cowen Creek Amenity Center. This workshop will begin at 9:30 AM and last until 12:30 PM. The cost to members is $5 and you can purchase a ticket through the CA website. Seating is limited, so get your tickets early. 

Kathy is a professional nature photographer from Houston. She and her husband have written ten books including Book of Texas BirdsBackroads of Texas and Photographing Big Bend National Park. She teaches photography, is a highly sought after guest speaker and leads photo tours to various countries including Costa Rica, Spain, Africa, Italy, Peru, Morocco, and Bhutan.
