Lazy bird walk Thursday Jan. 3 10 am Wanna sleep in a bit? Give the rain a chance to move off? Well, this bird walk is for you! Birds will be active after the predicted rain, and y’all will have plenty of time for coffee and hot chocolate before leaving home to meet at the usual spot! Start your 2019 bird list with us on an easy walk.
Meet at 10 am in the Legacy Hills Park Pavilion parking lot. Park at the end of the lot closest to the lake. Walk will be leisurely along Berry Creek Trail. Bring binoculars, sunscreen, hat, and (optional) field guide or app. Walks usually end by 10:30. Walks are geared toward birders of any level of experience. -Please remember to wear your Nature Club Badge or Sun City Badge.
