The Women | The Telephone | Trouble in Tahiti – a trio of light, comic operas is presented by the Butler Opera Center. The first opera titled The Women puts a mother and a wife sparring over who is more deserving of the man’s affections. In The Telephone, Ben tries to propose to his girlfriend in between her continual phone calls. Trouble in Tahiti finds Sam and Dinah trying to adjust to suburban life. Short and simple operas. Pre-event dinner on your own will be at the Domain. Drop-off point will be by Kona Grill. Some of your choices are Grand Lux, North, Gloria’s, California Pizza or shopping. Map and suggestions will be provided. NOTE: Only clear plastic purses/handbags OR gallon Ziploc bags are allowed in the McCullough Theater. Ticket cost includes transportation and opera ticket.
