As the clock chimes midnight, a brave young girl turns the tide in a battle between toy soldiers and mischievous mice, as a blizzard of ballerinas revel a wonderful world of confection in Ballet Austin's presentation of The Nutcracker. Set to Tchaikovsky's iconic score, you will be captivated as Clara and her beloved Nutcracker battle a most memorable Mouse King, encounter dancing Snowflakes and travel to the Palace of the Dolls. From the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy to the iconic snow scene, let The Nutcracker transport you to a fantasy world filled with colorful characters, gorgeous costumes and majestic scenery. Be a part of the holiday magic amid the wonder of imagination. Pre-theater dinner is on your own in The Rock Rose District at The Domain. Map and menu ideas will provide an eclectic mix of chef inspired eateries and a host of new hip establishments sure to please even the most discerning palate.
