Depart SCPL 5 p.m.; return 10:30 p.m. Tickets for this event go on sale on Wednesday, March 1 @ 8 a.m. All aboard the Lone Star Riverboat with the Lone Start flag painted on her side! This is an amazing two hour sunset bat cruise, and we hope to see thousands of Mexican free-tail bats emerge from under the Congress Avenue Bridge. As we glide through the heart of downtown Austin, our narrator will point out famous landmarks. As the sun sets and the multi-colored lights of the skyline appear, the view is spectacular. This double decker is the largest electric powered paddle wheel riverboat in America. There’s plenty of space on the roof top for your favorite camera shots as well as downstairs in the covered patio dining room. Dinner on board the riverboat features a chicken and beef fajita spread catered by Pok-e-Jo’s with beans, Mexican rice, pico de gallo, cheese, sour cream, chips and salsa and cookies for dessert. Iced tea and water are included but you may bring any drink you wish on board except glass bottles.
Ticket cost includes transportation, cruise, and dinner.
