Membership
Most people interested in this art form have no prior experience working with glass. Therefore, the primary path to membership in the Stained Glass Club is the successful completion of our class "Introduction to Copper Foil ". You'll get hands-on experience in making a piece of glass art and something you can show off to your friends. The Club provides all the tools, glass & supplies.
This gives a newcomer an opportunity to "try it before you buy it" with minimal investment, to see if you like working with glass before becoming a member.
Classes for 2024 have been scheduled for January, February, April, June & August.
- Registration & payment will be handled through the CA Ticket System. Tickets for each class will start on the first Monday of these months.
- Classes start on the 3rd Monday of these months.
- Class sessions are on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays, from 3:30-6:30 pm. To see exact dates, check out the Club calendar.
- Class fee is $80 - includes all tools, glass & supplies.
There are 2 other ways to become a member: (1) you have prior experience and can provide examples of your projects in copper foil, lead came, mosaics and/or fused glass, or (2) a certificate of completion of Stain Glass Copper Foil Technique offered by local stained glass stores. Both of these options still require a 1 hour Studio Orientation session at the Studio.
