Having Problems
Viewing this Eblast?

A few residents have reported an issue viewing the CA Friday eblasts. At the top of this message we always have links to the articles below; these links are called anchors. Some email providers have changed how their systems deal with anchors.

Gmail has started limiting the length of emails, however users can always view the entire message and "activate" all of the anchors by scrolling down the email until they see "Message clipped," then click on "View entire message." (See screenshot.)

Safari, the browser used by most Apple devices, no longer supports anchors at all, so users will have to scroll down the email to read each article it. Apple device users might consider adding a browser such as Firefox or Chrome to their device as an alternative to the lack of Safari anchor support.
Tell Us Your Story "Behind the Brick"

Submissions can be 50 to 500 words and photographs are HIGHLY encouraged. Please send your stories to [email protected] by Thursday, August 1, to be featured in 2019 or call her with any questions at 512-948-7745.

Native Area Mowing
Submitted by Carlton Mathis, Common Area & Irrigation Superintendent,

We continue to make good progress into Phase 2. We’ve had some equipment failure, but the lack of rain has helped us to keep a steady pace.

Although the majority of this process can be handled by our mowers, there are some areas that are less accommodating and will need to be handled with line trimmers. The Line Trimmers can be up to three weeks behind the mowers. All cuttings will be left where they fall. This is a Firewise exercise only, and not for aesthetics, or any other purpose.
