It's Fawning Season: Please leave them be
|
It is springtime, the time of year when fawns are born. The birthing season can run from April through the middle of June. As always, we advise residents to leave fawns alone.
Often fawns appear "orphaned," when in fact they are fine and have been hidden by their mothers. It is a common practice for the mother to leave the fawn unattended and later come and move the fawn.
