9 & 10:15 a.m. - Meet the Departments
9:30 a.m. - Presentation

Sun City Texas is within the city limits of Georgetown. How the city operates and the decisions it makes affect you, so please take this opportunity to join us for the City Town Hall.

City departments will be represented at tables for residents to visit from 9 - 9:30 a.m. and again from 10:15 - 11 a.m. At 9:30 there will be a 45-minute presentation by City Manager, David Morgan.

Residents will receive a “stamp card” upon entry offering a chance to win a door prize by visiting with at least nine of the city departments! Coffee and donuts will be provided so come early and learn more about how your City operates.
 Please join us for the

Curbside Christmas Tree Pick-Up

Texas Disposal Systems customers can put Christmas trees on the curb for collection on your regular yard trimmings pickup day. Trees seven feet in length or less can be placed at the curb uncut. Longer trees should be cut into sections. Artificial trees are not accepted.

A message from the Georgetown Police Dept.
Please Don't Fax the Police Department

Over the holidays someone faxed a request for assistance to the Police Dept. Wait...What?

Fortunately, it wasn't a life-threatening situation because the fax wasn't read until the next business day when the administrative offices reopened. Do not send a fax to the police department. Call 911 with an emergency or call their non-emergency number 512-930-3510 for other support and inquiries.
City Holiday String-Light Recycling

Don't throw those old lights away - recycle!

The City of Georgetown and Texas Disposal Systems have partnered to offer free holiday string-light recycling. Residents can drop off their old or broken string lights through Jan. 31. Last year residents recycled more than 1,300 pounds of Christmas lights.

Sun City residents may drop off old or broken string lights in the designated container at the Cowan Creek Pavilion, 1433 Cool Spring Way, in Sun City.
