Activities with Jenny – Movies!
Lifestyle and Activities likes to offer mov-
ies for entertainment! All movies feature
closed captions when available.
Cabaret style movies cost $5 per person;
price includes one soda (or one bottled wa-
ter) and a cup of popcorn. Start time of
cabaret movies is generally 6 p.m. with
doors open at 5:30 p.m. Each large round table will have six
chairs facing the screen; seating is reserved by table. The
popcorn will be on your tables when you arrive. Stop by the
hospitality table at the back of the room to select your bever-
age. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages,
Blessing of the Animals
Wednesday, Oct. 4, 9 a.m., CCAM
Please join us at the Cowan Creek Amphitheater
for the annual Blessing of the Animals. The
event is sponsored by the Sun City Pet Club
and is open to everyone in the community.
This meaningful program is for people of all
faiths and consists of spiritual readings, poems, and some fun
readings that will bring a smile to all. Bring a blanket or lawn
chair to sit on, and join all of us in celebrating the joy our pets
bring to our lives.
Sun City Live! Auditions for Mistletoe Magic
Friday, Oct. 6, 10 a.m. to noon, SCB Stage
Do you love the holidays? Join our talented
group to perform in our Nov. 25 show, Mistle-
toe Magic. We are searching for all types of
acts to celebrate the holidays. We especially
want some magic acts. If you can perform
magic, sing, dance, tell funny stories, play an instrument, recite
a poem or be in a fashion show, we want you to come audition!
Bring your own CD.

Garage Sale - SOLD OUT!

$45 per booth space (includes table)

Services Desk or online. Twice a year the Sun
City Texas CA and the Sun City Kiwanis host
a public garage sale for you to sell your goods very bank that absconded with their money.

event for shopping, buying and selling household items.

WOWS! Sometimes we surprise you and offer free movies –
watch the Sun Rays and eblasts – and occasionally we provide
popcorn for the $3 matinee movies and the free movies – but
we are not always able to do this due to preparation time.

All garage sale spaces are the size of a parking space. Cost is
$45 per space, includes a table, and will be available for setup
on Friday, Oct. 6, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
– No setup or vehicle traffic in sales spaces on Saturday
morning.
– Booths include one table. You may bring additional tables if
desired as long as they fit in your space.
– Security officers will be onsite to patrol the sales area Friday
evening to Saturday morning; however, the safety and
security of your sale items cannot be guaranteed.
– It is advisable to cover all items in the event of inclement
weather.
– Only one scheduled rain date: Saturday, Oct. 14.
NO EARLY SALES! Garage Sale set-up time is on Friday,
Oct. 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Garage Sale is open for
shoppers on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 8 a.m. to noon. We will
not allow any set-up on Saturday morning and no items
will be sold prior to 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7. These rules
were designed with safety in mind for all participants and
the rules will be enforced.
