Bus outings: etiquette and travel tips
For everyone’s comfort on our CA Bus Out-
ings, we would like to remind you of these
bus etiquette and travel tips:
– Communication: Please email your vol-
unteer trip leader instead of calling
them. We love our volunteers and ask
that you be respectful of their private
time.
– Selling your ticket(s): We keep a “want to buy” list in our
Member Services Office. This is a log of potential buyers
for specific sold-out CA bus outings. Stop by to receive a
copy if you want to sell your tickets for a particular trip,
and ask to have your name added to the list if you would
like to buy tickets for a particular trip.

Love to have an affordable piece of art to
enhance your decor? Don’t miss the Sun City
Visual Arts Club’s Summer Show featuring
the art work of many talented Sun City Artists.
Please join us for the opening reception and
light refreshments on Sunday, June 4, from 2-5 p.m. in the
Activities Center. Delight in an amazing variety of paintings
by an amazing variety of people. Invite your friends and family.
This event is open to the public. The exhibit will remain on
display until Friday, July 21.
Pinot’s Palette
Wednesday, June 7, 6 p.m., SCB, $45 pp
Reserved seating
Pinot’s Palette Georgetown is coming back to
our ballroom with their mobile studio. Be
inspired by their artists who will guide you
through your painting. An artist will be on
stage teaching step by step, and artists will
also be on the floor to answer questions and guide your hand.

– Perfumes/Colognes: Use sparingly – if at all.
– Cell Phone: Bring it with you, but keep usage to a mini-
mum while on the bus, and please use a low speaking voice.
– Conversations: Also, use a low speaking voice when visit-
ing with your seat mate.
– Announcements: Give the Trip Leader your attention
during any announcements.
– Timeliness: Be prompt and timely. Pay attention to the
time that your volunteer trip leader asks you to come
back to the bus.
At the end of the night, leave with your own masterpiece. There
will be fun music playing, and this is a great event for girls’
night out, date night or night on your own! Bring your own
snacks and beverages.
NOTES: We must have at least 20 people signed up for this
event to happen.
