Singer/songwriter Danny Santos melds the
inspiration of his Chicano heritage, a musical
legacy ranging from Hank Williams to the
Beatles, and a Texas-sized determination to
create a unique mix of country/folk tinged with Wednesday, May 3, 6-7:30 p.m., SCB, $6 pp
bluegrass and the blues. His songs illuminate the joys of true
love, the woes of love lost, and the weary longing of those still
searching for love. The bluegrass/folk quartet will play the
upright bass, guitar, banjo, mandolin and guitar.

Ninth Annual Sun City Garden Tour
Saturday, April 29, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday, April 30, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Advance tickets $12 pp; $15 day of tour
Presented by the Sun City Garden Club, the
tour includes seven Sun City yards and the
Horticulture Gardens in full spring bloom. See
what plants grow well here and get great ideas
for your own landscape.
Advance tickets for $12 each are good for both days. Purchase
tickets online at www.sctexas.org or at the Sun City Member
Service Office. Advance ticket sales end on Thursday, April 27 at
4 p.m. Tickets will be $15 at the door. Tickets are non-refundable.
The tour begins at the Sun City Activities Center, 1 Texas Drive,
where attendees will receive directions and a wristband for
admission to each of the yards. Complimentary coffee, lemonade
and cookies will be available throughout the days of the tour.
Net proceeds benefit Brookwood in Georgetown (BIG),
and the 4H Club of Williamson County.

When his cattle drivers abandon him for the
gold fields, rancher Wil Andersen is forced to
take on a collection of young boys as his drivers
in order to get his herd to market in time to
avoid financial disaster. The boys learn to do
a man’s job under Andersen’s tutelage; however, neither Andersen
nor the boys know that a gang of cattle thieves is stalking them.

Award-winning songwriter and musician Colby
Pennington, his wife Kimberly and their five
children (ages 14, 12, 10, 7, 5) are Family
Shiloh. Playing guitar, fiddles, bass and piano,
they will sing you back home with family fed
folk harmonies, cowboy favorites, and golden oldies. Turn back
the clock with the tunes of Hank Williams, Bob Wills, Gene
Autry, Jim Reeves, Patsy Kline, Marty Robbins, Johnny Cash,
The Everly Brothers, The Beatles, and many more.
