Junior Camp Drawing: Friday, Feb. 24, 10 a.m., French Room
What is Junior Camp? Junior Camp is
a day camp for 160 grandchildren (80 each
session) to experience Sun City activities –
bocce ball, swimming, tennis, acting, golf,
ceramics, gardening, fishing, and more.
Staffing includes director, nurse, coun-
selors, volunteer Sun City club members,
and lifeguards who all help provide a fun and safe environ-
ment. Cost is $290 per camper which includes breakfasts,
lunches, snacks, camp T-shirt, family movie and popcorn
night, and all activities.
Performance - Chuckwagon Wranglers
Western Music Show
Wednesday, Feb. 1, 7 - 8:45 p.m. (15 minute intermission)
SCB, $10 pp
Reserved seating by table
Sing along to classics like Take me Back to
Tulsa and San Antonio Rose. The Wranglers’
rendition of God Bless America is their way of
saluting all of the Veterans. This show is mixed
with hand-clapping music and laughter at the
ever present comedy of the Wranglers.
Sun City Dulcimers Benefit Concert
Sunday, Feb. 12, 3 p.m.,
The Worship Place, 811 Sun City Blvd., FREE*
The Sun City Dulcimers will present their
annual Benefit Concert for The Caring Place
on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 3 p.m. at The Worship
Place church, Sun City Blvd.
*The concert is free, but we do ask that you
bring cash or checks to support the food bank. Food items are
also welcome.
A second benefit concert will take place on Sunday, Feb. 19 at
2 p.m. at the Georgetown Library, 402 W. 8th St., Georgetown.

When you purchase tickets, you are selecting a TABLE
ONLY. Seat selection is not specific.
When you show up for the event, the seats are first come,
first served to the table you reserved.

When is Junior Camp?
Session 1: June 13-16 – 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Session 2: June 20-23 – 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Who is eligible to attend? Campers must be 7-11 years
old at the time of camp. No exceptions due to Texas licens-
ing. Also, we are not licensed to accommodate children with
special needs.
How do I sign up? Because of the popularity of Junior Camp
we hold an annual drawing to determine the participants.
Pick up more information and entry form at the Monitor’s
Desk at 2 Texas Drive. Put form in drawing box before Feb-
ruary 23. Attendance at drawing is not required.

Artie and Diane get more than they bargained
for when they get stuck babysitting their type-A
daughter’s over-protected kids. But things go from hectic to
hysterical when Artie realizes the kids are running the house
with their newfangled technology. By playing by his own rules,
which include sugary snacks, old fashioned games and tough
love, Artie manages and to outsmart the kids and achieve the
impossible – bring the family closer together!
Nonprofit Fair

Be sure to mark your calendars for the upcoming
Nonprofit Fair. Traditionally, we have more
than 40 nonprofits participating. Talk to
representatives of area organizations to see
what services are available and whether there
is a cause you are interested in supporting. Do you have a
nonprofit that is near and dear to you that you would like to see
