Veterans Memorial Plaza is our final stop. The Plaza encompasses
amazing bigger-than-life bronze memorials from WWI through
the Vietnam War and a Medal of Honor River Portal.

Studio Art Tour – East Austin – NEW!

Meet some of the local artists and dog herding, barn raising, black smithing, cheese making, wood
artisans who drive Austin’s vibrant creative
culture. With over 450 studio stops on the East
Austin Studio Tour, we have narrowed it down
to a wonderful community of studios called Canopy. Housed in
an architecturally refurbished warehouse that emphasizes the
connection between art, culture and the public, Canopy provides
a special glimpse into the inspiration, process and techniques of
the artist. Tour at your own pace, catalog in hand, and visit with
the resident artists, architects, ceramicists, jewelers, painters,
photographers, musicians, and sculptors who have opened their
studios for this once a year event.
Our pre-tour lunch stop will be a new location called The
Downtown Diners. Your choices include P. F. Chang’s, Micheladas
Café y Cantina, Gus’s Famous Fried Chicken, Max’s Wine Dive,
Uncle Julio’s, The Crepe Café, and Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill.
As we make our way to the East Austin Studio tour following
lunch, we will view some of Austin’s street art murals.

Maggiano’s Thanksgiving Luncheon

Our Thanksgiving holiday feast will
truly be a festive event at Maggiano’s Little
Italy Restaurant in The Domain. Our “family
style” meal will be served in our own private
dining room.
We begin with an assorted bruschetta plate followed by

Maggiano’s salad. Entrees include traditional roast turkey breast
with giblet and focaccia sausage stuffing and country-style baked
ham with mashed sweet potatoes. Tuscan creamed corn and
mashed potatoes accompany the entrees. Of course, pasta is
also included – four-cheese ravioli and their famous rigatoni ‘D’
pasta. Completing this dining feast, dessert is pumpkin praline
cheesecake and chocolate zuccotto cake with iced tea and coffee.

Homestead Village Craft Fair – Waco – NEW!

Crisp autumn air, jingling draft horse
harnesses, the aroma of smoked meats and
fresh-baked breads set the stage for the 29th
annual Homestead Village Craft Fair. This
traditional crafts village showcases a community of craftsmen
who have returned not to the past, but to the enduring values of
hand-craftsmanship.
The lineup of activities and demonstrations is extensive: sheep-
working, sustainable gardening techniques, fiber arts, firing
raku pottery and more. Take a horse-drawn hayride, try your
hand at basket weaving or stroll the grounds sampling the fresh
homemade assortment of tempting foods. Must-try goodies range
from apple cider donuts to grilled kabobs and don’t miss the
homemade noodles or the jalapeno sweet potato soup! Afternoon
musical entertainment includes gospel, bluegrass, and toe-tapping
country favorites.
Note: Dress for outdoor weather and walking on uneven
grounds.

of Austin’s holiday decorations as we have dinner
on your own at The Domain. View the huge,
