The Sundancers square dance on Monday
evenings and round dance on most
Sunday evenings. All square and round
dancers are welcome to come and join in
the fun. The club dress code is casual.
Square Dance schedule
Plus lessons: 5 - 6:30 p.m.
Workshop: 6:30 - 7 p.m.
Square dance: 7 - 9 p.m.
Workshops will be Mainstream on May
2, 9, 16 and 30. Workshop on May 23 will
be Plus Level. All dances will be held in
the ballroom.
Round Dance schedule
3 - 4:30 p.m. Lessons (phase 2 waltz)
4 - 5:30 p.m. Dance and teach (phase 2
and 3 basic).
5 - 6:30 p.m. Dance and teach (phase 3
harder dances)
6 - 7:45 p.m. Dance and teach (phase 4)
Round dances will be held May 1 and May
8 in the Atrium.

Table Tennis is a sport which can be

for practice! A few weeks ago, four women
and four men from the Sun City Table
Tennis Club participated in Del Webb
Golf and Sports Challenge in Sweetwater.
This summer, the club will host children
3-5 p.m., CCF/G, Dues $15
tennis during the Sun City Junior Camp.
Yearly dues are $10/person. We are a
friendly group where everyone is sup-

To reserve a court with your friends, come
to the ball draw at 5 p.m. two days in ad-
vance of your desired play date, or just
show up and play on any available court.
For even more fun, join us and take part
in some of our many other activities.
Try Open Tennis, which features doubles
with no partners, no levels and a friendly
coordinator to get you started. Play Monday
and Wednesday evenings or Friday morn-
ings at times posted on the court schedule

The VAC welcomes any resident of
Sun City to join and to explore their
potential as artists, whether beginners
or professionals.
Classes are held throughout the year
providing instruction in multiple media.
In May the offerings include Plein Air
Skills (Jimmy Longacre), Beginning
Drawing (Lucy Oxberry), Chinese Brush
Painting (Vivian WuShuan Burns), Color
Pencils (Mary Beth Martin) and Pastel
(Mary Beth Martin). For details please

on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays for
members to paint together. Classes are

of mediums, visit our exhibit at Cowan
Creek, the Activities Center, Social
Center and the Visual Arts Studio.
A short business meeting precedes a demo
at each monthly meeting. This month,
Mary Beth Martin will demonstrate
years, Mary Beth has received numerous
awards for her paintings. She was invited
in 2010 to show her work in France as
one of eight Master Pastelists chosen
to represent Texas at the International
Pastel Festival.
