The Sun City Singers, more than 100-voices
strong, is always on the lookout for people
who love to sing. We have three concerts
a year; the next one – our Independence
Day concert – is coming up July 1. Perhaps
our most anticipated shows of the year are
our Christmas concerts, set for Dec. 7-8 in
the ballroom. Now under the direction of
Georgia Parmelee, the Singers will begin
rehearsals for the holiday concerts on Tues-
day, Aug. 30 in the ballroom. If you are in-
terested in joining us in song, please attend Sun City Texas! Come and have some fun!

Dulcimers - a SIG of Singers
We continue making music together.
Spring festivals have many of our mem-
bers traveling to learn from master dul-
cimer teachers.
Practice is every Saturday morning from
10 a.m. to noon and every Tuesday from
6-8 p.m. in Rooms 3 and 4 of the Activities

The Solos Chartered Club is open to all
Sun City residents. Our goal is to have
a good time participating in social, intel-
lectual and sporting activities. We wel-

We are bringing the music of Frank Sina-
tra to Solos on May 21 when tribute artist
Kenneth Kruse performs for us in our
very own Italian supper club. Good food,

The Orientation to Stained Glass class is
to do stained glass. It is a prerequisite to
joining the Stained Glass Club and is gen-
erally taught four times a year in January,
April, July and October. The class covers
the copper foil method of stained glass. If
you are interested in a fun and creative
hobby, stop by the studio and see the type
of work our members produce. Class size
is limited so watch the Sun Rays for in-
formation on signing up for classes.
