portunity to learn duplicate etiquette,
scoring, how to use bidding boxes, how
to use electronic scoring and, most im-
portantly, how to play duplicate bridge
and form new partnerships. Come with
a partner or a partner will be made

Boy’s basketball game, Dripping Springs
vs. Georgetown. Dripping Springs team
was taller than Georgetown. The first
half had both teams travelling up and
down the court. Neither side could get a
lead and hold it. Georgetown led by two
points at half time. In the third quarter,
Georgetown picked up their level of play-
ing. They employed fast breaks, weav-
ing offense plays, back doors, full court
press, and a series of three-point shots.
Georgetown increased their lead. In the
fourth quarter Dripping Springs fouled
to get the ball, but Georgetown hit most
of their shots from the line. Georgetown
won 66 to 56!
The words “fun, food, fellowship, and
fantastic action” are great descriptions
of Eagle Boosters. Each game allows you
to talk with your fellow sport fans while
watching GHS athletes compete against
other schools. Your attendance at their
sporting events means so much to these
young athletes and shows them that
their community is behind them.
