The Sundancers square dance on Monday

dancers are welcome to join the fun. The
club dress code is casual.
Square Dance Schedule
Lessons: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Note that the last Mainstream lesson will
be held March 21.
Workshop: 6:30 to 7: p.m.
Square dance: 7 to 9 p.m.
The Sundancers 19th Anniversary Dance
was a festive event, with 120 dancers and
some of the club founders and original
members in attendance. Guest caller Scott
Bennett of Lawton, Oklahoma assisted
Brad Caldwell with calling the square
dance. Jerry and Lucy Pate cued the
rounds.
A graduation ceremony will be held
during the dance on March 28 for the
students who have completed the series
of Mainstream lessons. Plus lessons will
begin April 4.
March dances will all be in the ballroom.
Workshops will be Mainstream on March
7, 14 and 21. A workshop on March 28
will be Plus Level.
Round Dance Schedule
3 to 4:30 p.m. Lessons (phase 2 waltz)
4 to 5:30 p.m. Dance and teach (phase 2
and 3 basic)
5 to 6:30 p.m. Dance and teach (phase 3
harder dances)
6 to 7:45 p.m. Dance and teach (phase 4)
The only round dance in March will be
held in the Atrium on Sunday, March 13.

The Sun City Table Tennis Club plays
at Cowan Creek Amenity Center in the
Salado Room. Club days/hours are Friday
thru Monday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Play on
Tuesdays through Thursdays also is an
option if the Salado room has not been
scheduled for use by another group (check
ciation (SCTTA) and participate in our
Sun City Texas website).
Balls and tables are in the closet of the
Salado room and paddles are in the cab-
inet. Please sign the login book on the
counter whenever you play. Family and
friends of CA members are welcome dur-
ing non-club hours.
Table Tennis is a sport that can be played
at the beginner level (ping-pong) or at
the Olympic level; in any case, playing
exercises both your brain and body and
puts a smile on your face! Who says ex-
ercise can’t be fun? Table tennis is a low
injury activity that can be played by men
and women of all ages, including some
nonagenarians. There is a ladies group,
a men’s group, mixed play, singles and
doubles. There is an annual general meet-
ing followed by lunch; four board meetings
per year and socials. The club also offers
members, at no additional cost, begin-
ner and intermediate clinics and use of
a robot for practice. Check the website
for events, meetings, clinics, socials and
photos! Yearly dues are $10 per person.
We are a friendly group where everyone
is supported and encouraged.

with no partners, no levels and a friendly
coordinator to get you started. Play Monday
and Wednesday evenings or Friday morn-
ings at times posted on the court schedule
