N31 CANOE TRIP
Residents from Neighborhood 31 had a fabulous canoe/rental adventure on the South San Gabriel River. They rented
canoes and kayaks and were assisted by two staff of the Georgetown Parks & Recreation Department. After launching
their watercraft at the Blue Hole, they paddled upstream for about an hour – watching the beautiful scenery, paddling in
tranquil waters, and seeing abundant wildlife. Although there was some initial trepidation, all overcame their fears, and
jubilantly rejoiced after finishing their accomplishment!
