The Fun Night in September attracted
45 of our Sun City Texas friends
and neighbors. Guests received an
introduction to square dancing and
were able to meet several of the current
club members. Many stayed after the
festivities to watch the regular dance, and
32 of our Fun Night attendees returned
the following Monday to begin the process
of learning to square dance.
Round Dance Schedule
3-4:30 p.m. Lessons (phase 2 two-step)
4:30-5:15 p.m. Dance (phase 2 waltz and
two-step, phase 3 cha cha and rumba)
5:15-7:15 p.m. Teach and dance (phases
3 and 4 all rhythms)
Dances will be held in the Atrium Nov. 1

The Sun City Table Tennis Club plays
at Cowan Creek Amenity Center in the
Salado Room. Club days/hours are Fri-
day thru Monday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Play on
Tuesdays thru Thursdays also is an option
if the Salado room has not been scheduled
for use by another group (check with the
Cowan Creek monitor or on the Sun City
Texas website). Balls and tables are in the
closet of the Salado room and paddles are
in the cabinet. Please sign the log-in book
on the counter whenever you play. Family
and friends of CA members are welcome
during non-club hours.
Table Tennis is a sport which can be played
at the beginner level (ping pong) or at the
Olympic level—in any case, playing exer-
cises both your brain and body and puts a
smile on your face! Who says exercise can’t
be fun? Table tennis is a low injury activity It’s only $12 a year.
