“Earth-Kind Landscaping.” Texas A&M
developed this program to provide a set of
landscaping principles and practices that
would help individuals create beautiful,
easy-care landscapes, while conserving
environment. So survey your yard for areas
that might need refreshing or a complete
re-do. Then come to the meeting to gather
ideas for a beautiful, thriving landscape.

gardeners, pick up a garden book from
the lending library or find a plant on the
sharing table. Visitors and new residents

The Hiking Club has nearly 90 hikes
planned in 2015 as well as four fun social
events. We hike near the San Gabriel River
Loop, and farther away at places like
Colorado Bend State Park and Enchanted
Rock State Natural Area. Our hikes can

club maintains 10 well-kept courts, so come
on down!
Shuffleboard SIG
Sun City Texas has an active Shuffleboard
group; approximately 20 individuals
belong to the Shuffleboard SIG and 20
other residents also play at the two courts
(adjacent to Bocce Courts, and next to
Horseshoes and Washers). The courts are
open every day to residents. Although there
is no league play, members of the SIG and
other residents gather at the courts at 9
a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday to play
for one hour.
Newcomers are welcome to join us any
time. If you have not played in the past

Our Annual Fall Plant Sale will be held
