Woodworkers Club

Community Association

The Woodworkers Club is a Chartered Club of Sun City Texas.
The Woodshop is located at 1303 Sun City Boulevard, Georgetown, TX.

(512) 591-7853

Working with wood to safely create, learn and lend a hand. The purpose of the Club is to manage and fund a Woodshop for its members in Sun City Texas and to encourage and support the craft of woodworking among its Members by promoting camaraderie, the exchange of information about woodworking tools and techniques, and other relevant activities.

There is no precondition for membership, nor are Members required to join any national, state, or regionally affiliated organization. The Club is open to all skill levels of woodworkers, from beginner to expert. Training is available for all equipment in the Woodshop. Membership is open to all SCTX Community Association residents and renters who have paid the Club's dues and completed all Orientation and Safety Training requirements.

The Woodworkers Club self-maintains its equipment, relying on approved procedures, through the volunteer efforts of almost 100 of our Members. A Safety Monitor, whose duty is to ensure the safe operation of equipment, is on duty anytime the Woodshop is open. When a Monitor is unavailable, the Woodshop will close.
