The primary goal of the Sun City Hiking Club is to provide a safe and enjoyable hiking experience for its members. To that end, the Club sponsors an ID Tag program and maintains first aid kits for use on all hikes and other club activities (such as trail construction or maintenance projects) where first aid supplies may be needed. The Club also attempts to educate its members regarding basic rules for safe hiking.
The ID Tag program makes vital contact information as well as pertinent individual medical history data available to Hike Leaders and Emergency Responders in the event of emergencies. In addition, Hike Leaders ensure that first aid kits containing basic medical supplies are carried on all club-sponsored hikes.

First Aid Kits Manager
First aid kits and supplemental replacement supplies are stored in the Club’s Resource Room in the Activities Center and are maintained by the First Aid Kits Manager. These kits are available for use by Hike Leaders and Project Leaders on any Club-sponsored outing in accordance with the policies outlined below.
